Most bloods can be taken by the nurse and an appointment may be made with her. There are certain recommended time intervals for certain bloods and you may well be advicsed accordingly
How do I prepare for a blood test
Most bloods do not need fasting. Lipids are best done fasting as is diagnosis of diabetes. Both of these though can be done non fasting as well if needed. Monitoring of chronic diabetes can be done non fasting.
If you are fasting , eat nothing from 10pm the night before except you may drink water and take your tablets
